Privacy notice
Short version: Urban AI is a free assistant. Don't paste anything personal or sensitive into it — treat it like a public tool.
How your messages are processed
Your messages go to our servers and then to DeepSeek, a third-party AI provider, which writes the reply. We don't send your name or account with them. We don't control where DeepSeek processes them and can't promise a location, so assume they may leave the Philippines, and read DeepSeek's own privacy policy. Because a third party processes the text, don't include personal information (full name, address, phone, ID numbers, passwords, financial details) or anything confidential.
What we store
Your chat history is stored only in your own browser, on your device — not in an account. Clearing your browser data removes it. On our servers we keep logs of conversations for abuse prevention and quality, with a scrambled session code and a salted hash of your IP address. These logs are not linked to your name or account, and are deleted automatically, after 30 days by default.
Reporting a reply
Use Report under any reply if it's harmful, sexual, false or otherwise wrong. Our admins see your message, that reply, the reason and any note you add. We don't store your account, session or IP address with the report, and it is deleted after 180 days. If an admin dismisses it, its text goes at once and the rest after 30 days. To stop duplicates, an open report keeps a scrambled code made from your IP address and the reply, which goes when the report is closed. We also check whether the reply is in our logs, so while that log lasts a report could be matched to it. Urban AI is for people 18 and over, and the same goes for signed-out use, where we can't check.
Pickleball waitlist emails
If you join the URBANDINKR waitlist, we store your email address and the date you signed up. We use it only to send launch updates about the club and app. We don't sell it or share it for marketing. To be removed, send a privacy or data request through our contact form with that address. We'll reply to that address to check it's you, and we may ask for more detail before acting.
Fair use
The assistant is rate-limited to keep it free and available for everyone. Automated or abusive use is blocked.
